01 · BACKGROUND

Customer Background

Enterprise Type

A Railway Freight Center, responsible for railway freight hub operation management, handling operation organization and warehouse storage services, is a national key transportation infrastructure facilities operator.

Enterprise Scale: [TBD]

Hub Scale

Railway freight centers contain arrival/departure yards, shunting yards, handling operation areas, container yards, cold chain warehouse storage, distribution centers and other multi facilities, distribution system is complex, handling equipment types are multiple, power load is large.

Annual Freight Volume/Facilities Count: [TBD]

Industry Position

National Key Transportation Infrastructure Facilities, need strict compliance with TB/T 《Railway Technical Management Regulations》 and GB 50016 《Building Design Fire Protection Specifications》 and other standards, safe operation and freight continuity requirements are very high.

Compliance Standard: TB/T / GB 50016

02 · CHALLENGES

Business Challenges

01

Handling equipment has large power, hazard risk is high

Gantry cranes, container cranes, handling machines, transmission belts and other large power equipment frequent start-stop, cable joints and distribution boxes easily overheat, lack of continuous online temperature monitoring means, overheat hazards are hard to warn early.

02

Distribution system is complex, manual inspection has large blind spots

Freight center distribution rooms, substations, handling equipment control boxes are widely distributed, manual inspection is time-consuming, coverage is limited, some outdoor handling areas affected by operation restrictions are hard to inspect at high frequency, end circuit leakage hazards are hard to detect in time.

03

Storage facilities fire risk is high, compliance requirements are strict

Cold chain warehouse storage, container yards, distribution centers and other storage facilities involve flammable and explosive goods, once electrical fires occur, consequences are severe, need strict compliance with fire safety requirements, lack online monitoring data to support compliance audits.

04

7×24h continuous operation, emergency response needs to be sped up

Railway freight operates 7×24 hours uninterruptedly, under emergencies, O&M teams need real-time electrical status data to support emergency decisions, but existing SCADA systems do not cover end distribution circuits, data blind spots affect emergency response efficiency.
