FAQ
How does the shield-link body differ from ordinary plug-in units?
The shield-link body builds several poles into one piece, giving better inter-phase equipotential bonding and consistency. Plug-in units use independent modules mounted on a base.
Can the device be used alone as a first-level protector?
It is designed to T2 class and is normally combined with a T1 device to form two-stage protection. Where it is used alone, lightning risk and surge current must be calculated.
What are the Up and response time values?
Up is 1.5kV at 275V and 1.8kV at 385V. Response time is ≤50ns for the series, and local failure indication is provided on the device.
What are the mounting and signalling options?
Mounting is on a standard 35mm rail, and the ZLS2 series offers an optional dry signalling contact for remote failure reporting.
How is the product certified and quoted?
Certification is CE / CMA / CNAS accredited laboratory. Price is Request a quote, with lead time and configuration agreed per project.
