FAQ
How does an integrated unit differ from a split backup protector?
An integrated unit combines the SPD and the backup protection in the same housing, reducing wiring nodes and panel space. A split arrangement instead connects a separate SPD in series with a separate backup protector.
How do the models map to test classes?
SCSCB15 is T1 with an impulse current of 15kA (10/350μs). SCSCB80, SCSCB60, SCSCB40 and SCSCB20 are T2/T3 classes with discharge currents of 80kA, 60kA, 40kA and 20kA on the 8/20μs waveform.
What is the power-frequency short-circuit breaking capacity?
Breaking capacity is offered in three levels of 15kA, 25kA and 50kA. Operating current is 3A and disconnection time is 0.3s, so the device clears power-frequency short-circuit current after SPD degradation.
What are the mounting and environmental conditions?
Mounting is on a standard 35mm rail, with a single-pole outline of 87.5×81.5×18mm and maximum conductor cross-section of 6~25mm². Operating temperature is -40℃ to +80℃.
How is the product certified and purchased?
Certification is CE / CMA / CNAS accredited laboratory. Price and lead time are quoted per project, and remote signalling is available as an option.
