FAQ

How does the loop method differ from the traditional three-wire method?

The loop method needs no auxiliary earth electrode and no disconnection of the down conductor, so it suits continuous online monitoring. The three-wire potential-drop method remains the reference for handover testing and absolute verification.

What are the range, resolution and accuracy?

The range is 0.01Ω~2000Ω with a resolution of 0.01Ω and accuracy of ±2%rdg±3dgt. All three models FRP-01111, FRP-02111 and FRP-03111 share the same range.

Which communication and supply options are supported?

RS485, Zigbee, Ethernet and 4G are available as options. Supply is DC12V by default, with DC24V or AC220V versions, matching the model selected from FRP-01111, FRP-02111 and FRP-03111.

What are the protection and environmental conditions?

The aluminium alloy enclosure is rated IP65. Operating temperature is -20℃~60℃ and operating humidity is below 95%, so the monitor suits outdoor installation at substations and base stations.

What certification applies and how is pricing provided?

Certification is held through a CE / CMA / CNAS accredited laboratory. Price is quoted per model and communication option; Request a quote with the model code and the interface required.
