FAQ

How does it differ from the FL lightning peak monitor?

The peak monitor covers 1kA~120kA of lightning current, while this transient model covers 0.1kA~1kA. It is intended for low-amplitude transients and switching overvoltages instead of full direct-strike currents.

Which data is recorded for each event?

Each event records the peak value, polarity and time of occurrence. Up to 100 records are kept in a circular buffer, so the most recent events stay available for review.

What are the sensitivity and current range?

The range is 0.1kA~1kA, acquired with a high-sensitivity Rogowski coil. The 0.1kA lower limit is what allows low-amplitude transient events to be recorded at all.

What mounting and protection are provided?

The unit is installed outdoors, either wall mounted or on a pole. The enclosure is rated IP65 and operates from -20℃~60℃.

What certification applies and how is pricing provided?

Certification is held through a CE / CMA / CNAS accredited laboratory. Price is quoted per configuration; Request a quote with the model code and the communication interface required.
