The Plan emphasizes in its "Key Tasks" section that "digitalized energy management" plays a critical role in industrial carbon reduction, requiring energy-consuming enterprises in key industries to establish online energy metering systems covering main energy-consuming processes, and promoting end-to-end data connectivity across distribution nodes, key energy-consuming equipment, and plant-level energy management platforms.
