Citations & traceability

Every citation maps to a verifiable knowledge unit; citations must come from indexed sources and carry a content fingerprint for consistency checks.

Display phase Professional Q&A is in preparation

This platform currently provides knowledge and citation display only — no professional answers, selection or compliance conclusions.

1. Citation identity

Citations reuse the stable Knowledge ID of the underlying unit, so they stay consistent across pages, languages and versions.

2. Citation fields

FieldMeaning
citation_idKnowledge unit ID, e.g. KL-SPD-001
titleSource title
source_fileSource file path (master or primary material)
source_sha256Source content fingerprint for consistency checks
section / chunkMatched section or chunk location
langSource language page (zh-Hans / zh-Hant / en)
product_fact_statusVerified / unverified (UNVERIFIED / GUARDED_UNVERIFIED)

3. Traceability checks

  • Citations must come from indexed sources; unindexed files are never cited.
  • source_sha256 validates source consistency; a mismatch invalidates the citation.
  • Non-research / non-authoritative sources are excluded (non_research_urls = 0).
  • Sample citation shape (illustration only, not a professional conclusion):
KL-SPD-001 · Product spec · source_file=…/KL-SPD-001.md · lang=zh-Hans KL-SPD-002 · White paper · source_file=…/KL-SPD-002.md · lang=zh-Hans KL-SPD-003 · Case study · source_file=…/KL-SPD-003.md · lang=zh-Hans

Illustration of citation structure only; no specific technical parameters or selection conclusions.

4. Evidence boundary & confidence

  • When evidence is insufficient, the system refuses rather than speculating.
  • Answers are limited to extractive citations of verified sources (EXTRACTIVE_CITATION_ONLY), with no added facts.
  • UNVERIFIED content carries an unverified notice and is not treated as confirmed.
